* New to FH V6 Capabilities

I am coming out of using FTM 2012 and 2014, 4 years with them...
Im new to FH, I like the capabilities i see --
the learning curve is a bit much at first , but worth it i think,
tho i finding things as intuitive as i like.

Is there a way to adjust the ancestor/pedigree views in the focus window?
When they are there -- the scrolling takes forever, and often i forget where i am in relation to the person i start with before scrolling.
i must be doing something wrong...the compact diagram view must be there somewhere, right?

Everyone is very nice, and quite helpful here....
It means alot, and i appreciate the help,
i have so much catching up to do to get basic with FH

As a newcomer, may I suggest how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers especially the Documentation & Tutorials.

The Focus Window ~ Ancestors view cannot be adjusted.

But there is are Ancestor Diagrams and Ancestor Reports.

The Standard Ancestors Diagram is on the Ancestor Diagram button next to the View Media camera icon button on toolbar at the top.
But this is just the standard default that can be highly customised via the Diagram > Options.
In some cases the other Diagrams on the adjacent toolbar buttons may be more useful.

For Reports see Publish > Narrative Reports and Publish > Outline Reports ~ both have Ancestor versions and can be highly customised via the Report > Options.
