New Witness Role

Post by rodit » 24 Jan 2015 04:51

When creating a New Witness Role (eg Curate), what does one have to enter in the Past Tense box?

If left blank the new role does not appear (as suggested) but I cannot find anything in Help as to the sort of statement which has to be entered here.

Thanks

Roger

The Past Tense is used in the Facts tab of the Property Box. Thus, for example, the Mourner Witness Role for the Cremation Fact has a past tense of "Mourner at" and on the Facts Tab for the witness this is displayed as "Mourner at Cremation of Joe Bloggs".

Regarding the Help Roger, when Adding/Editing the Witness Role in the Edit Role window, which is where you edit Past Tense, then click the Help button and all is explained. What could be simpler?
