Place List - better Find and column Sort

Post by jimlad68 » 03 Jan 2015 00:49

Toolbar > Tools > work with data > Places > Place List > Find

<1> The "Find" only finds a PLACe record that begins with the search, never elsewhere in the comma separated record, even if sorting is done on a different row. Even with reverse display order it still shows the same.

<wish> To find record where search is anywhere in the PLACe record, at least as good as the Records Window filter. Preferably with some standard *. ? and Boolean logic or similar.

<2>There is only column sorting on 1 column.

<wish>multi column sorting like on Records Window and Query Result Set.

For other comments see forum topic Place List > Find - any tricks for using this? (12090).
