* 'View online Map' not working with Chrome Browser

Hi

I am having an issue when trying to view online maps in FH6, using Chrome as my default browser

My steps to reproduce issue are:

Prequisite: Have Chrome set as default browser (disable all add-ons)

1. Go to 'Tools' on menu bar
2. Select 'Work with Data'
3. Select 'Places'
4. Select a place
5. Click 'View in Map'
6. Select 'View in Online Map'

Nothing happens for a few seconds and then the following'Family Historian' error message is displayed: Transcript "Could not locate, or failed to open, an Internet Browser"

I tried restarting browser, rebooting etc, but no change.
I tested with Firefox and the browser opens the map page fine
I tested with IE11 and the browser opened, but does not navigate to the map page

System Info
Windows 8.1,
Upgraded from FH5 to FH6 this morning with no issues
All other features in FH6 seem to be working well
All browsers have latest updates

I searched FH website and Forum to see if Chrome is or isn't supported, but cannot find anything.

Any ideas?

It works fine with my setup,

Chrome Version 39.0.2171.71 m

Windows 7 pro SP1

Works for me as well.

Google Chrome 39.0.2171.95m.

Windows 7 SP1 Pro 64-bit.

Thanks Guys... appreciate the feedback. Must be something wrong with my setup. I too am using Chrome Version 39.0.2171.95 m.

Unless it is has anything to do with Windows 8.1.

Found out what the problem was. I had FH6's exe running in compatability mode for Windows 7 (a hangover from experiments when running FH5). When I turned compatibility mode off and ran FH6, I can view the online maps fine.

Thanks again for your feedback that it was working for you. This helped me sleuth down the issue at my end.
