Thanks Jane, I have been thinking of subscribing to Find My Past for some time and have now been inspired to get out my credit card. Already found some information that is not on Ancestry and am impressed by how easy the searching seems to be - though I haven't done anything obscure yet.
As my credit card is out I have been futher inspired to make another contribution to FHUG. Was going to also contribute to AS again but cannot find the link?

In Ancestral Sources go to the Help menu and choose Make a Donation.

This does not work. Remember the old adage "If it seems too good to be true, then it isn't!!!"

Not quite sure what it is that doesn't work. If you mean the AS donate screen, I found it eventually. You have to open AS and look on the Help menu, rather than finding it on FHUG website.
At least, Paypal tells me I have made a donation to AS, so I hope it has gone to the right place. The email from Paypal tells me 'Please note that it may take a little while for this payment to appear in the Recent Activity list on your Account Overview' - whatever that is
PS I have now checked my emails and have a thank you from Jane for the donation to FHUG but nothing from Nick for AS, which is perhaps explained by the message from Paypal.

I did not mean the AS donate screen but the subscription screen on the Find my Past web site. It does not recognize the coupon code the original poster quoted.

It works for me.
Follow the link in Jane's first posting, but do NOT use Activate your voucher here bottom left.
Click PayAsYouGo or Subscribe top right.
Then enter NEWSPAPERS14 in Promotional code at the bottom, and click Apply button or press Enter key.
( That is NEWSPAPERS in upper or lower case, followed by the digits 14 )
All the prices are immediately cut in half (scroll down to see entire page):

Thank you for your post, I now see where my problem lies. I was trying for a "World" subscription but the quoted coupon code for that is not valid. My bad. Thank you all for your help.
