There are two final questions that I would like to ask.
a) In the facts Tab for eg Baptism; if I enter St. Luke's Church in the "place" section and Pitsea, Essex in the "address" section only the Baptism, Date & Place is shown in the diagram box. How can I ensure that the "address" is also shown in the box ?

b) Although I am conversant with the copy and paste commands from the edit on the toolbar; if there is a window open, say for the "edit text scheme", I cannot paste. All I get is a raspberry - how can I paste something to the template?

In the Baptism Template there are data references for each field to be shown:
e.g.
%INDI.BAPM.DATE% for the Date or with qualifier %INDI.BAPM.DATE:COMPACT%
%INDI.BAPM.PLAC% for the Place or with qualifier %INDI.BAPM[1+].PLAC:TIDY%

To include the Address field you must include the %INDI.BAPM.ADDR% data reference.
You can type this in to the Template.
Or you can place the cursor in the Template where you want the Address to appear.
Then click the << Insert button on right to open the Data Reference Assistant.
Then click on the [+] signs against appropriate items.
In this case Individual - Events - Baptism, then select Address and click Insert.

b) How can I paste something to the template?

Unfortunately the FH Edit Copy and Paste only work between fields within FH.
You need to master the standard Windows Copy & Paste techniques.

(1) Using mouse only:
Select the text to be copied such that it is highlighted with blue background.
Right-click your mouse and from menu select Copy to clipboard.
Select the text to be replaced such that it is highlighted with blue background.
Right-click your mouse and from menu select Paste from clipboard.

(2) Using keyboard shortcuts:
With this method Ctrl+X means you hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the X letter key.
Select the text to be copied such that it is highlighted with blue background.
If it is an entire field you can use Ctrl+A.
Use Ctrl+C to copy to clipboard.
Select the text to be replaced such that it is highlighted with blue background.
If it is an entire field such as Template you can use Ctrl+A.
Use Ctrl+V to copy from clipboard.

Mike has answered your question, but one comment, the more "normal" way to use Place and Address is to record the Village, Town in the Place field and the Church / House name and street in the Address.

Thank you for your help Jane & Mike. The reason that I have been so long answering is because I made such a hash of my project that I deleted it and started again. It was not too bad, only three generations.
The template text you gave me for marriage Mike worked like a dream; it is easy when you know how. Could you please let me have the template for divorce so that I can copy and paste that.

It is EXACTLY the same as Marriage except every MARR is replaced by DIV
i.e.
=ExistsText(%INDI.FAMS[1+]>DIV%,"DIV") %INDI.FAMS[1+]>DIV.DATE:COMPACT% in %INDI.FAMS[1+]>DIV.PLAC:TIDY%

Thank you Mike. I thought that would be the answer and I have tried it; but unfortunately, with my eyesight I cannot always see where the "dots" are; I am so grateful for your assistance.
You will no doubt be pleased to know that you will not hear from me for the next ten days !!1 We are off to the West Country for a break and I shall be taking chapter two of "the book". I am starting again because I am not happy with what I have.
I shall undoubtedly contact FHUG on my return.
