I use Gedcom Census v4.0.7. to download Census information into FH. In the record window the result is a column titled Census date with one date only.
At a John Hanson FH course in January at SoG, he illustrated how one can show in the record window every census year with the occupation and residence for each individual in columns.
Could you please tell me how to achieve this, please?

I presume you have added a column to the records window?
You just need to add the additional columns, how ever I believe John uses custom events for his census records so I can not give precise instructions.
There are a couple of Queries for Census information so you could download those and set the Records Window Columns from the Census Query.
