Is there a way to put the Record Id in brackets next to the person's name instead of on a seperate line? Thanks

Custom Report query

You did not specify which type of Report, but the following works for most.

With Report open use the Report > Report Options > Format tab.
Under Heading select Record and click Edit....
Insert [=RecordId()] wherever you want the [ID] to appear in the heading.
Click OK twice.

Now that you have customised your Report you should preserve it using Save Report As > Custom Report Type.
Give it a memorable name and subsequently use Publish > Custom Reports and select that name.
