I don't know if I am not using it correctly or if there is a software defect with the save diagrams as option. I select the 'All pages' option as shown below:
but only seem to get the same result as using the 'Whole diagram' option. I expected to see a file for each page. Was I expecting the wrong result; have I set it up incorrrectly or is there a problem? I had a look in the updated manual but missed it if there is an explanation.
Best regards,
Martyn

By the way I can get round it with 12 'One page' options but it is a bit of a fag.

I think the idea is to save as much of the diagram as you specify for a single save. Not sure why there are two options [confused]
So Whole Diagram is the same as All Pages. In Calico's defence this one got added VERY late in the beta test.

The late addition would explain why it is not documented, assuming I did not just miss it. The example I included the dialog from was a diagram that printed on 12 pages. I can use the 'One Page' option and on successive runs enter 1-12 and I get each page saved. The 'Whole diagram' option saves the whole diagram as one image so I expected that the 'All pages' option was just a shorter way to do the pages in 12 runs. I'll e-mail support at Calico in the morning and see if I misunderstood or am doing something wrong. Alternatively it may be a defect, I work for a software house and it's often the innocent looking late changes that come back to bite you!

I sent an e-mail to support and Simon sent me a reply the same day, which was very good, he deserves to be putting his feet up for a few days after getting the new release out. I don't believe there is anything confidential about it and as it may save other people having a similar misunderstanding I'm sure Simon would not mind me posting most of the body of the reply:
In fact the bit you are having problems with works exactly the same as it does with 'Copy Diagram' which was there before 2.3.
'All Pages' does not create one file for each page. It was never intended to do that. I will try to explain what it does do:
If you click on 'Show Page Boundaries' and click on 'View Whole Diagram', this will show you a grid of pages. The diagram occupies a certain number of pages in this grid - one or more. Each occupied box in the grid corresponds to a printed page. The grid boxes/pages occupied by the diagram always have the diagram background colour. Unoccupied grid boxes/pages have a white background colour. If you print off the diagram it is only the occupied pages that print.
When you opt to copy or save the 'Whole Diagram', F.H. ignores the grid of pages and the image it creates will be the size of the actual diagram (slightly larger to allow a little space above and below). If however you select 'All Pages', F.H. will frame the diagram using the box that encompasses all occupied pages in the grid. That way you can control exactly how the image is framed (you can reposition and resize the grid quite easily - see Chapter 8 of the User Manual if you don't know how to do this). So 'All Pages' is likely to be bigger than 'Whole Diagram' and can sometimes be much bigger.
You can select one page if you just want to copy or save a particular bit of a diagram. You can reposition the grid to frame just the bit you want.
As I'm new to FH I did not know about the copy diagrams but other more experieced users probable knew this and did not have my misunderstanding.
