Hi Mike,
I am trying to use your Change any fact plugin to convert one of my obsolete sources to the one I am now using ( I mentioned this in another thread).
I want to copy all the references from the citations for the source
'X FreeBMD'
and convert them to the source
Free BMD Birth (1837-1915)
for births
and to
Free BMD Death (1837-1915)
for deaths.
I haven't managed to work out how to do it.
Am I missing something?

Change any Fact Plugin - Query?
I am afraid the Plugin is not intended for that kind of edit.
It is to change one GEDCOM Tag to another GEDCOM Tag.
It cannot create records or change titles, etc.
It is particularly aimed at correcting UDF Tags.

John, I could E-mail you the Plugin I have written that will do the conversion you require.
The Source Names you mention have changed from:
X Free BMD and Free BMD Births and Free BMD Deaths
to:
X FreeBMD and Free BMD Birth (1837-1915) and Free BMD Death (1837-1915).
This suggests a number of options:
1) I E-mail you the Plugin script as it is now, and you edit a few lines near the top that define the names of your Source Records.
2) You specify very precisely the names of the four Source Records, so I can edit the script and E-mail it to you.
3) I spend some time adding a user interface to the script to allow the Source Records to be chosen from your database, before I E-mail it to you.
