I changed computers recently. Messages on the list have continued to arrive as before so I assume I am still subscribed. However, today when I tried to reply to a posting, my message disappeared. I later found the address had gone from my contacts list. Do I need to add an 'L' to the address as I did when first subscribing or do I need to subscribe all over again?

You probably sent the message not in text format so it will have got stuck in the admin tools.
Try sending again after ensuring you have set the mail to send only in text format.

Thanks Jane. I have changed the setting, but will try again some other time. I have since realised that I had got hold of the wrong end of the stick regarding the topic I was going to reply to so rather fortuitously I have avoided making a fool of myself.
