Saving Changes

Post by Hilary » 16 Oct 2011 11:31

My netbook has Windows 7 64 bit and I find that when I try to make changes to a custom report it comes up with a message unable to save changes as the location is read only in the program data file.
How can I safely change this?

You should be able to locate the Calico Pie folder within the C:ProgramData folder.
Right click on this Calico Pie folder and select Properties.
Make sure the Read-only Attribute is not ticked and click OK.
If presented with the Confirm Attribute Changes window, choose Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files.

If necessary you may have to repeat this procedure on the Family Historian subfolder, and each of the subfolders within it.
