Whenever I get hold of a census for use with Ancestral Sources I make a note 'copy of census' in the Note area, and this is then include with that census in the Sources. I would like a query which would allow me to see which census Sources have this note, bearing in mind that I have other census data but not a facsimile of the actual sheet.
Regards
Roger

Query within sources
Why not just create a source query, then add a row filter using note contains text for 'copy of census'

Query within sources
Here two ideas:
Source Records Extra Note Column
Select the Sources Records window and use menubar option Lists > Configure Record Window Columns.
In the popup window ensure Record Type: near the top says Source.
In the Item column on the left select at the bottom and click the > button in the middle.
In the Add Column popup window set Heading: to Note then click the Query Window.
Click on the Query Menu icon which is near the top right and looks like a scroll down menu with a red tick.
Choose New Custom Query and in the popup window enter a Query Name: such as Copy of Census and set Query Type: to Source then click Create.
Select the Columns tab and click on Source at the top of the Fields pane on the left.
Click on the > Add Field as Column button at the bottom.
Select Note from the Fields pane and click the > button again.
The Columns should look like:
Source %SOUR%
Note %SOUR.NOTE2%
Select the Rows tab and ensure the Condition: near the bottom left says Add if....
Click the [...] button at the right-hand end of the Expression box.
In the Data Reference Assistant popup window, select Note and click OK.
In the Operator: list select contains and in the Value: field below enter copy of census (or whatever text your Source Note field contains).
Now click the Add button bottom right and the Filter should look like:
Add if %SOUR.NOTE2% contains 'copy of census'.
Now click on the red triangular Run Query button towards the top right.
The Result Set tab should list all your Source records where the Note field contains copy of census.
