FH doesn't do 'pretty'?

Post by djac » 19 Apr 2011 10:09

I appreciate that FH has a lot of functionality - in fact, a lot more functionality than I am ever likely to use!

This is all very well but what about when it comes to printing out charts to give out to family, how can I produce a 'presentation quality' chart?

FH seems to rely on colours and simple boxes. Even adding a text box to a chart gives you just that, a box with text in it. I know I can use different fonts which does go some way to improving things (Ball MT italic works quite well).

There doesn't seem to be a way to add decorative borders to the chart as a whole, or to text or picture boxes.

Or am I missing something?

I am not sure what you are trying to do.

Have you tried using the different box styles with drop shadows etc?

Have you added background images, extra photographs or graphics?
