Installation

Post by vliet » 05 Dec 2010 11:30

I have been deliberating for a while how to install FH on to my laptop. The old PC has v2.1(something), upgraded to v3 and now v4.13. running Windows XP. Laptop id running 64bit Windows 7. I don't think that I'd be able to install through the Cds because of the 'bit' differences. Has anyone out there got an easy solution or shall I just keep on using the PC for FH work?
Regards.

As long as the Laptop has a a CD drive you can install V2 and then the V3 and V4 upgrades.

You might need to use the CD backed installer for V2, see

Thanks Jane, everything worked a treat. I was really surprised that I even remembered where I'd put all the 'key' info for the upgrade disks!
Hope you have a good Christmas.
