Customising content of narrative reports

With diagrams it is possible to choose who shows and who doesn't by clicking the little buttons - a highly technical explanation, but you know what I mean.

Is it possible to generate narrative reports that include and exclude individuals in the same sort of way?

Not directly but you can use the Private and Living Flags to omit and minimise information using the Privacy tab of the report options.
