linking images to records

Advice needed please!

I find that I can't access images which I have linked to individual records, getting the message 'unable to load object. error on file open'.

I think the reason could be that I have changed the name of the folder where I keep these images.

Is there a way I can get around the problem or will I have to re-do each link? I could restore the old folder name but I don't want to do that, also it would leave other images unlinked.

You can use the Work With External File Links tool to correct the links at the folder level, just pick the folder name you have changed and correct it to the name you changed the folder to.

If you press Help once you have the tool open there are detailed instructions for using it.
