Editing Narrative Reports

When I add notes to a narrative report I sometimes want to edit the report, make new paragraph etc. Is this possible and if so how?

Simply save the report as a word-processor document (RTF) or a text file, and then open it in your preferred word-processing program to do all the editing you like.
