Change date qualifier description

I prefer to use c or cir (abbreviation for circa)instead of app for approximate dates - how can this be changed. I have changed born, marriage etc. by editing the templates for the diagrams but can't seem to rid the charts of app!

Also if I insert an occupation fact on the facts tab of the property box - the sentence produced reverses the place and the subject of the occupation i.e. I get 'he was educated at Mechanical Engineering ...... in London University'

The display format of dates can't be changed. Neither can the input. There is a wish list item to allow ~ and other formats to be used when entering approximate dates - http://www.fhug.org.uk/wishlist/wldispl ... lwlref=355. It looks like you will have to create a wish list item for the display of dates to be customised.

Check out the fact template in Tools->Work with Fact Sets... and have a look at the properties for the Occupation fact. You can then edit the template to match your requirements.

Jon, Thanks for such a quick reply - will follow your suggestions on my next work session - and post a wish list!
