Bad images when inserting pictures

Post by brianh » 12 May 2004 20:43

I have just downloaded the demo version of FH and whenever I try to insert a picture, the picture has strange coulours. I have tried jpeg (from a camera) and bmp images (from a scanner and Photoshop LE) but all the same result. In the preview panel, the images are also the strange colours.

After playing around for quite a while with my own computer and it's settings (after I had posted this query), I have tracked the cause of the problem.
My display was set for '256 colours' and this worked fine in normal circumstances.
However, by changing to '32-bit (true colour)' within 'Control Panel' it has solved the problem.
