Saving diagrams as PDF

Post by moscow » 14 Jan 2010 06:44

I'm trying to save a diagram as a PDF file, using V4 and Vista. I keep getting an error message saying adobe cannot print because either the file type is not supported or it is damaged. Also when I look at the file properties, it show 0 KB.When I open the 'printer' it also shows 'error'

Any thoughts on what's going wrong?

Thanks

Make sure you are saving your PDF to a user allowed folder.

Try using the Print option rather than the save option to see if that helps.

Can you detail the exact screens which appear when you do the print or save and any errors which occur?

Thanks Jane

Same thing happens with the print option.

the message i am getting is 'adobe reader could not open the file because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged'

The diagram saves fine as a jpeg.

Forgot to say.

If I open the FH PDF file printer, it shows the file with KB's, but just says 'error printing'
