I may be wrong, but I don't think FH keeps a list of Keywords anywhere, but just creates the list from all the keywords used in the currently open GEDCOM file. I guess that if you delete the unwanted keywords from all the records to which they are attached, those keywords will then disappear from the list.

As is usually the case where FH fails in providing a feature, and editing and managing keywords should have the same functionality as editing and managing place names, you can always edit the Gedcom file directly. Use PSPad, NotePad+, or even Microsoft Word (at a push) and search for the keyword in question and delete. Depending on whether the keyword is first in each record, the only keyword, or in the middle or end will mean that you either search for 'keyword, ' or ', keyword' or 'keyword' (note placement of commas) and replace with nothing. Best search for it in the order I've just listed.
Note: I've not tried this directly, so take what I've written as a guide and not as instructions to be followed to the letter - and backup first!

Why not simply select the keyword, and FH will list it's occurrences and you can change them or use the utility I wrote to do mine back when V4 came out first.
