Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I have a tree of ancestors about eight generations. All generations are a different colour but the third one is yellow. As I want to print out on a yellow card I need to change the colour of the generation box. I have edited the generation box to change the colour and the colour changes in the box fill box, I then click okay and apply but it doesnt change the diagram. Any ideas would be welcome, thanks for any help

Think it's the GEN 9 tab you need to edit.

Thanks Jane, that works, but I dont understand why when it is the third generation I want to alter. Perhaps my brain is working a bit slow tonight, thanks again.

Changing Colours of Generations on Diagrams
Assuming you're looking at the Diagram 'All Ancestors - Colourful'
Choose the Diagram menu and select Options.
Then select the Boxes tab. There are 3 conditions set. If you click on the third one down 'Generation'. You'll see various tabs appear which specify the colour of each generation. You'll see the various tabs 'Gen1', 'Gen2' etc. as well as the 'Gen9' that you asked about.
Hope this helps.
