Since upgrading to V4 I am having problems with the record flags missing in the diagrams.  I have made sure that the icons appear in the diagram options.   They worked perfectly on V3 can anyone help me with what I need to do.

I exported my diagram scheme from FH3 then re-imported in FH4 and all was well. I have around 25 possible flags in my diagram and it works fine.

I can only suggest rechecking how you set the rule up

My guess would be you had your icons on the default diagrams on V3 and you did not export them to custom ones before the upgrade?

Can you check the Flags on the Boxes Tab and confirm all the little icons show there along side the flags which trigger them?

Hi Jane yes I have even deleted them and re-entered them they do not appear

Very strange. Could you save your diagram as a custom diagram type and export it and attach it here so I can try it?

I have saved my diagram as a custom family history chart but I cannot export it here. I can only upload it as a jpg.

Just had a look at other questions on the forum and have found that I too had got my words back to front as did someone else and this is why the flags were not working ie 1901 census instead of census 1901. Thanks for your help

This is easily avoided by simply using the drop down list to select the flag from the existing flag list rather than typing them.

Also in V4 you can use Tools/Work with Named lists and flags to make flags permanent, so they appear on all the GEDCOM files you use. Ensuring your names are always consistent.
