Ver.4  Diagrams nbsp;- avoiding page boundaries

Post by Larrard » 27 Apr 2009 13:50

I seem to have hit a snag with the 'avoid page boundaries' option in ver.4.

I like to display 'descendant' diagrams with the 'left to right' option as opposed to 'top - down'.

However, now when I generate a diagram in ver.4 with 'page boundaries' live, the 'avoid page boundaries' still leaves individuals straddling the horizontal page boundaries.

This was not an issue with ver.3.

Now wondering if it's a glitch or if it's necessary to tweak something in the 'diagram set-up' to make it function properly?

Anyone else found this a problem?

Sorry I did see your post on the mailing list, but my day job is getting in the way. I will try and have a play as soon as I can.

Ver.4  Diagrams nbsp;- avoiding page boundaries

Appreciate your offer.

I have tried again without altering anything - Top-down and Bottom-up functions are both fine.

Using Left-right and Right-Left, I can see parts of the diagram are being shifted, but it is still leaving odd individuals straddling the horrizontal and vertical page breaks.

As mentioned this was deffinitely not a problem with ver.3.

Thank you for pointing out this issue.  We will investigate it and get back to you on this thread.  But please don't expect a quick response as we are still very busy with other things at the moment.

Meanwhile - if you find any more relevant details on this issue, do by all means continue to post them to this thread.
