Generation row height

Post by e9b6 » 21 Jul 2008 08:10

All the examples in the tutorial show a generation row height equal to one box. I seem to have rows that are three boxes in height and for the life of me I cannot see where this is controlled. How does one alter this back to one please?

Generation row height

This normally depends on the number of generations down from each ancestor you have selected. What settings are you using for this.

Generation row height

If you got an all relations diagram open, then you can have a number of box rows per generation. This covers situations such as 1st cousins, siblins and the root person all being of the same generation. Rather than put them on the same row, FH seperates them out.

Other examples are 1) 1st cousins 1x removed, nephews/nieces, and children, 2) uncles/aunts and parents, etc.
