Is anyone able to help with the following?
There is a COUNT OF CHILDREN box and a COUNT OF MARRIAGES box in the Detail pane of the Property dialogue and these two also occur in the ADD ATTRIBUTES list of the Events pane. Are these two occurrances linked in any way? They do not seem to be. Can these counts be used in any other place eg queries?

Count of children/marriages
The two counts are not linked.
The count of marriages field that you can enter is for data you have been told/know, and the other count of marriages, is the number entered.
So for example you may know fred was married 3 times, but only have details for the last marriage.
OR My mother says her father was one of 13, but I may only have entered the 7 children I have found.
There is a function called countofchildren() which is detailed in the functions section of the manual. At least it is there in the 2.1 beta I am using.
