I havelimited experience with genealogy software.
Expecting delivery of FHv£ tomorrow.
Has anyone any tips about what to do when I first start the programme. Experience is that a mistake on first use of a programme can lead to problems later.

My advice would be to follow the tutorial at least for the first three chapters.  The tutorial is well written and covers most things you would want to do.  The tutorial is included in the demo version so you could try it out now if you wanted.  You can download the demo at http://www.family-historian.co.uk/downl ... x.htm#demo

Thanks for advice. The support for FH is fantastic. I was feeling a bit nervous about using the programme and wondering if I had been wise to buy it. Cannot wait for tomorrow's post so that I can get started.
