I have bought a new computer and wish to reinstall FH5 on that computer.
My first version of FH was Ver 3 and I upgraded to 4 then upgraded to Ver 5.
Do I have to go back to Ver 3 and install that plus the two upgrades?

Hi makfai,
The quick answer is no.
Take a look at http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... _historian.
It includes this paragraph:
Unlike previous Upgrades, the Upgrade V4 to V5 product does NOT need the preceding Versions to be installed. It only needs the Upgrade V4 to V5 Licence and the previous Full V4 or Upgrade V3 to V4 Licence details to be entered.

Also take a look at how to Move Family Historian Settings from PC to PC.
Since your new PC will presumably be running Windows 7 then the best option would be to use the Windows Easy Transfer program.

Slight hiccup when following the instructions on the wiki
at http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... _historian.
Those instructions were fine before the update to Ver 5 was published. There is now no direct access from the FH (CP) website to the original Ver4 to Ver5 upgrade.
I tried downloading the Ful Ver 5 available to buy but it would not acceop the Lic Key. I also tried to download the Ver5.01 but that would not download without Ver5 being installed.
Fortunately I had saved the Ver4 to Ver5 download when I installed it on the other computer so I copied it to the new one and installed it.
I think anyone wishing to reinstall the original Ver4 to Ver 5 upgrade will (unless they have a copy saved) have to contact CP first to get a link.

I believe that has always been the case.
If you lose your Download it is the same as losing your CD.
Prior to V5 you had to not only keep your original CD, but also every subsequent Upgrade Download.
Otherwise, yes, you would have to contact Calico Pie and try to get another Download copy.
