Data saved in Gedcom

Am I right in thinking that all text that is entered into FH is saved in the Gedcom file? Including all the text in 'Multimedia', ie Title, Picture Note, Keyword and the Note field at the bottom.
Also are the Multimedia file links saved with the Gedcom?
I ask this out of interest. If all media was lost/corrupted (heaven forbid) it would be possible to re construct the Census, GRO Indexes, Burials etc. from the Multimedia texts and Sources.

Any text you add to Family Historian is stored in the gedcom file. Only the image it's self is not. I would however recommend you keep full backups of both the gedcom and the media files.

Oh I do, I do.
I just wondered if FH stored some of the media text in some other place as it does with the programme/chart settings.

The Knowledge Base article Understanding the Scope of Features gives a detailed explanation of what is stored where.
