Whan zooming out of a diagram the zoom level change from 100% to 92% to 85% to 79% to 74% to 70% to 66% to 62% to 59% to 56% to 53% to 51% to 49% to 47% to 45% to 43% to 42% to 40% to 39% to 38% to 36% to 35% to 34% to 33% to 32% to 31% to 31% to 30% to 29% to 28% to 28% to 27% to 26% to 26% to 25% to 25% to 24% to 24% to 23% to 23% to 22% to 22% to 21% to 21% to 21% to 20%. I think you get the point! [smile] And it isn't a typing mistake where I repeat the zoom factor. [confused]
I would argue that this it is totally pointless, illogical and perverse to use such a logarithmic scale to do the zooming. In all my time (over 15 years) of using programs which have zoom facilities FH is the ONLY ONE that uses a log scale for the factors, all other programs use a standard scale with a small number of steps. When the zoom factors gets down to around 30% there is so little difference between 30% and 20% that it makes no use to have intermediate zoom levels. A small number of zoom steps should cover 90% of all uses.
Another problem with the log scale is that to zoom back in to full size takes hundreds of keypresses (or a long time of pressing) of the + key/button to get back to 100%.
Therefore my wish list item is that there has to be a 100% button as well as the zoom in/out/area/whole buttons. A field to enter a user specified zoom factor (1%-500%) is also necessary.

You can already
'Enter a specific Zoom level %' and 'reset to 100%' from the diagram/zoom menu.

OK, thanks for that Jane - hits self in face for not looking in the menu [oops].
I would still like a 100% button on the toolbar and I most definatly would want the log scale removed and replaced with a more logical, useable and understandable linear zoom scale.
