If you want to change the layout of columns in the record view window (or elsewhere) you can currently right click on the column headers, select 'Configure Columns...', select the column in question in the dialog that appears and press the up or down arrow as required.
A quicker way to do this, especially if you are only wanting to move one column, is to allow dragging and dropping of column headers. You can then drag a column header and if you drop it elsewhere on the column headers it will insert itself between two labels and adjust the layout accordingly.
