V3 - worth the upgrade?

Post by RichardBtn » 14 Nov 2006 03:02

I've just returned to Family Historian after a a long period and find there is a whole new version to consider.

I've upgraded my current version to v2.3.5 but was wondering if it's worth taking the 'next step' to v3. I've read through the new features list and like the sound of some of them.

It would help a lot if someone who has already moved to v3 could share their experiences. I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks.

As with all upgrades, a lot depends on if you want the additional functionally, personally I think its worth it for the enhancements to the narrative reports.

V3 - worth the upgrade?

Richard,
The extra diagram features eg the ability to move branches, or to add whole trees to a diagram can be very useful as are the 'flag' and 'icon' features. I am glad that I got the v3 upgrade.
Perhaps it would make a good Christmas present for someone to give you? [smile]
