How to view Census entry

Post by Pentris » 03 Aug 2011 16:36

I am a brand new user and have entered one census and saved it. How do I get back to the exact screen I entered the information on to be able to edit it. Cannot find info in help pages. Any help appreciated.

How to view Census entry

May I recommend the following:

Take note of the Help > Getting Started:
'It is highly recommended that you work with a copy of your project/file until you are sure of how to use Ancestral Sources and have decided on the settings you require'.

Look through the other Help sections before entering your data - some of the optional settings are important to get right before you start.

Work through the tutorials in the Knowledge Base > Ancestral Sources at
http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... rces:index
I recommend you experiment on the Family Historian Sample Project until you are confident.

The Ancestral SourcesBackups folder holds a backup of your GEDCOM before the Census entry was added.
So if you prefer you can undo the whole entry, by restoring this backup, and start again.
