I want to record all the baptisms for a particular church under one source so I have set the Ancestral Sources Baptism option to Method 2 although I modified the Title Template to include the name of the church as well as the location. However, when I entered the baptisms of 3 brothers at the same church I ended up with 3 sources. What did I do wrong?
I've added a transcription of each baptism to each entry in AS as I want that to show in the 'text from source field' in FH and I've put the page reference for each baptism in the Ref ID as I want that in FH's 'Where within Source' field. I wondered if that had caused AS to recognise them as 3 separate sources but 2 of the baptisms have the same reference as they are twins. I've looked at all the help within AS as well as on this forum but I don't know what has gone wrong. I'm using AS 3.1.0 and FH 4.1.3.

Baptism Method 2 but getting more than 1 source
If you left the AS source as 'New source' you will get a new source for each baptism. You need to choose the source you have created from the drop down list.
In FH you can merge you duplicate sources 2 at a time, the citations will remain as you recorded them.

Baptism Method 2 but getting more than 1 source
Check out the AS Help under Baptism Sources > Main Screen: Baptism Records and scroll down to Baptism Information > Source where it explains Method 2 for existing/new sources.
