* Direct Ancestor buttons missing

I’m currently using Family Historian 7 and have 4 separate projects. Over the last few weeks I have noticed that on the focus screen the blue arrow which replaces the magnifying lens for direct ancestors of the root person has disappeared from two of the projects but still shows on the other two. So I am assuming the problem relates to the specific project but I have not been able to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to your first question on FHUG.

I suspect the problem Projects do not have a File Root person defined.

Bring the person you want to be the File Root into Focus then right-click their box and choose Make File Root.

BTW: Your profile to the right of your posting still says Family Historian V6.
So please update that by clicking your username ArGee, then navigate to Edit Profile, set Family Historian to V7 and scroll down to SUBMIT.

Thanks Mike. That has solved the problem. I didn't realize that the root person had become un-defined.
And I have updated my profile.
