I was going to ask how to move a wife and children to current husband's brother, but then I found this kb article.
Even though it is not for FH7 it did work, but I notice the last image is wrong: it is a duplicate of the image at the start of step 2. How do I report that for correction and/or is there an equivalent page for FH7?
Also, I didn't see any relevant fact type for any of the following things (all applicable in my tree).
How would I best handle recording these?
1-sexual orientation
2-hermaphrodite
3-transgender
* Relationships and sex facts?

Re: Relationships and sex facts?
I did just figure out how to enable the hidden extended fact set:
I could use from that set the Medical Condition fact to record hermaphrodite status, which would take care of #2.

Regarding the KB article, please post the problem in our Maintaining the KnowledgeBase forum and mention FH V7 compatibility.

Re: Relationships and sex facts?
1. I would create a custom fact. I would create it as an attribute (not an event) so that it has a value field in which to record the orientation.
2. There is a standard Physical Description fact which might serve the purpose.
3. I would create a custom fact. This could be an event, where the date field holds the date period during which the individual transitioned. Any further information can be contained in the fact note. Sentences generated for narrative reports will refer to the individual as either he or she, so make sure you have recorded them with their preferred gender/sex. (Genealogy software may have to start using an extra field for gender, as it is not quite the same as sex!) You can add alternative names using the More... button next to the name field in the Property box. You might also want to create a custom fact for Name Change.

Just to be explicit about a couple of things that Lorna mentions (and apologies if these are obvious). It's not just recording them with their preferred gender, but also with their preferred name in the Primary Name - the original names ("dead names") can be recorded as Alternate Names but please think carefully about where those Alternates appear in reports - e.g. I have set Alternate Names to appear in the narrative sentence for the birth fact but this will be wholly wrong if you use narrative reports and if you are producing a narrative report that will be visible outside your PC.LornaCraig wrote: ↑10 Feb 2023 11:30... The other aspect is preferred pronouns. On a quick search, I could only see viewtopic.php?f=32&t=20772 on this topic. Again, this issue is very much about narrative reports (no idea if there are issues on non-narrative reports) - one suggestion in that thread was to alter the sentences to use the reference to the actual (preferred) name, rather than the template code because that can appear as the name or "he" or "she". Alternatively, hack each narrative sentence for that individual to hard code the correct name or pronoun to choice.
