As a new user, I have been trying out various of the Chart functions - very comprehensive capabilities!
Having created a Chart and carried out various annotations to it, I now need to create an amended Chart, based on the Chart I have created, but if I do so and save it, my original chart vanishes. How can I save the new Chart under a different name?
On a related matter, where in which location/directory does my Windows 10 PC store the Charts I have created?
Many thanks!

Re: Amending Charts Query
To preserve your first chart, use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Family Historian Chart and give it an appropriate name.
To create a new chart based on the first, save the same chart again with a different name. You can then modify the second one without losing the first.
Saved charts can be accessed from the main toolbar under Charts > Saved Charts. (They are specific to each project and are stored in the Family Historian Projects\<project name>\ <project name>.fh_data\ Charts folder).
Those saved charts preserve almost all aspects of a diagram, including the diagram root, diagram type, number of generations, Text scheme, Box conditions and any adjustments which have been made to the relative postions of boxes or branches. However the Chart may change slightly if any new individuals have been added since the Chart was last opened.
If you want to preserve a chart exactly in its present state you can use Diagram > Save Diagram As > PDF file. The default location for saved PDF charts is within the Public folder of your Family Historian Project but you can choose to save them anywhere.
In case you are not aware, you can also save a diagram as a Diagram Type. This preseves the overall "style" of the diagram (Ancestor/Descendant/All Relatives etc., the number of generations, text scheme and box colours) which can then be used for any other diagram root. Saved Diagram Types are found under Charts > Custom Diagrams. They are available to all projects are are stored in the C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Diagrams folder (which may be hidden by default in the Windows installation).
