Individual Summary Report Header

Post by rlparsons » 11 Jan 2023 17:01

When I generate an Individual Summary Report for a person, the master page header is e.g.
"Frederick Gross STOCKER (1865-1908)"
I would prefer this to read;
"STOCKER, Frederick Gross (1865-1908)"
Is it possible to simply configure the report to this format? It would suit my paper filing system better!

Yes, use Report > Options > Format tab, select Heading Record and click the Edit... button.
Set the Heading Text to %INDI.NAME:SURNAME_FIRST% (=LifeDates2())

FYI: See the following FHUG Knowledge Base articles:
An Overview of Reporting which under Setting Report Options links to...
Report Content, Media, Format and Layout where Format Tab for the Font, Style, and Text of Headings gives some clues.
Report Tips and Tricks that under Format Tab it goes a bit further.
Using the << Insert Data Ref... button lets you chose Individual + Name + :SURNAME_FIRST much the same as you may have done elsewhere in FH to specify Surname First format.
