Getting an Error with View Match Details... links
I am using Automatic Internet Data Matching with Find My Past, and it's had been working well when I used it a lot a couple of months ago. I now find that although the usual matching is fine, I get an error if I try I try to review previous matches via View Match Details... If I click the count against New, Accepted or Rejected I get an error box saying "Unable to access web page". Refreshing the matches for the individual doesn't change anything.
I just renewed my FmP subscription, and wondered if that was it, but it shouldn't be as it's the same account and I could get the hints page even when the subscription was expired (just couldn't view the details of course).
I have tried resetting to defaults on AIDM to see if that helps, but no.
Any clues as to what to do to resolve it?

Re: Getting an Error with View Match Details... links
I don't think it is caused by FMP subscription renewal.
The matching process is governed by your FH User Credentials.
Have you possibly reinstalled FH or switched PC such that the User Credentials have changed?
See FHUG KB Internet Data Matches under User Credentials, although your problem may be something else.

Re: Getting an Error with View Match Details... links
It's a bit strange.
I haven't moved PC or re-installed FH, although I recently cleared my cookies etc. in FireFox, but that shouldn't affect FH at all as this issue is within FH. I use FireFox as an external browser for the hints as it's more convenient on a separate monitor rather that the build in browser. The hinting seems to be functioning as normal and clicking a hint opens a FMP page with the hints as expected. I have also tried switching to the built in one, and it works the same, but gives the same error on View Match Details... links.
It only seems to be a problem with the View Match Details... links as it's fine otherwise. It's somewhat annoying not being able to review what hints I've accepted or otherwise at the moment.

Sorry Chris, I did not read your OP carefully enough.
I get exactly the same error message.
You click on one of the green hint circles, and on the cog menu choose View Match Details... then click one of the blue underlined numbers to get the error message with a red X.
Can others confirm the same problem?

Confirmed, but I have no idea how long it's been broken -- I wasn't even aware you could do that.
Makes no difference if I use an external browser or the internal one.
As a workaround, going to an a unreviewed FMP hint and choosing from the dropdown menu to see New/Accepted/Rejected hints works. Doesn't help if you have no unreviewed hints for that individual though.

Re: Getting an Error with View Match Details... links
Oh, so it's a reproducible issue and not just something I've done, phew!
It was working during August this year as I had a 1 month FMP subscription as I couldn't wait to grab some 1921 census entries. I also did some work using the hint integration as I'd not had a subscription to a supported site, and was impressed at how it speeded up a lot of work compared to searching manually. So, it broke between 2nd Sept and now.
There's not been an update of FH as far as I can remember since then, so it could be a FMP site change that's broken it, but only the links in View Match Details..., not the main hint counter.
I've used the FMP hint review thing, but as you say, it's no help if you've cleared all hints, which is basically how I've worked through a lot of things.

Suggests a URL change by FMP, perhaps. Will you report it to CP so they can fix it?

I agree with the thought that it may be a URL change, looking at the Web Address: entry (by right clicking on the hyperlink) it displays 'FP-A' which is not a URL address?

Re: Getting an Error with View Match Details... links
I did the same, and I assumed FP was short-form for FindMyPast, and would be internally expanded using some config mapping to the actual URL. So FP-A would mean FindMyPast Accepted (and FP-N for New and FP-R for Rejected). I just enabled MyHeritage to check, and the links are MH-A etc. so I think I'm probably right.
Question is, where is the config that is used to map these to actual URL, as I don't believe is part of the Internet Search set.
If we knew we could check it for ourselves.
There's no response on the ticket I've raised with CalicoPie as yet.

CP say the bug when creating a new bookmark will be fixed in the next update.
