Hello again and thanks for all the help re my previous post on Infant Mortality.
I am tidying up my BMD entries and decided to use The Civil Index Register template along with the DEA.
Entered a Marriage
Then went to the fact through the Individual.
Any reason why I am missing the text from source? Have I done something wrong or am I just missing something?
Probably something quite simple.......any help appreciated.
Regards
PP

This is on my radar -- it looks as if it might be a DEA problem... Nothing that you're doing wrong, or missing.

Re: Text from Source Missing
Thank you for the feedback Helen,
I will start with the BMD Births and Deaths with the Civil Registration Index DEA as they work fine. I'll wait for the update to the Marriages DEA. Perhaps you could let me know when you have had time to update it please?
Many thanks,
PP

There's a new version in the plugin store.

Re: Text from Source Missing
Thank you Helen,
That was quick!
Much appreciated, I have not used the DEA's for all my sources, I still use the very good AS programs as well for the standard items, but where I find the DEA's very good is for things like Paper Clippings, and Wills etc, the non standard stuff. Very good idea.
However, I now have a mixture of Generic and Template Sources, not sure if that is good or not? A couple of questions, if I use AS for a baptism for instance, it gives me the option of generic or template Text from Source where it puts the items into boxes......when I complete a BMD General Index via the DEA and add the data, when I go to the text from source, the items are not boxed when viewing from the Fact, is there a reason for this or am I missing something? Another thing I have noticed is when I go through a Death Index and use the DEA and at the end I attach an existing media file, when I then go to view the source via the Individual Fact and check the Source everything is there but the Media file that I have just attached, so I have to attach it again from the Individual Fact? Is that me or something else?
Many thanks again for your help.
