* Research notes not linking to individuals

A change has occurred in the way research notes are behaving. In the past, when I created a Research note and linked it within the note to an Individual or Family record in FH7, the Research Note was displayed in the Notes tab for that individual or family. The research notes that I've entered over the past month or so are not displaying in the Individual or Family records. My steps in creating the Research Notes are the consistent with the past.

Any guesses as to the cause or suggestions on how to get the notes and people records to properly link again?

There are two independent methods of linking Research Notes to Individual/Family records.
1) Insert the Individual/Family record link into the Research Note rich text formatted text.
2) Use the Notes tab of the Individual/Family Property Box and Add Shared Research Note.
As far as I am aware, each such link has only ever been one-way and never bi-directional.
So I can only assume that you originally used both methods and overlooked that in the more recent updates.

Yup. It appears I had been adding Shared Research Notes from property boxes last year (rather than from the Add > Research Note menu) to make the records link. I’ve now clarified my written procedures to follow that route. Thanks!
