Deleting old computer from licence
Hi,
I have two Macs on my licence, one is my old laptop. I need to delete it to add another one but there is no way to see which Mac is which. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jacqui

When you go to register your new copy, calico will spot your attempt to register a 3rd copy and list your existing copies and ask you which one you wish to delete. Hopefully you’ll recognise which one will need deleting
Quite simple really
Sorry, I didn’t read your post in full. However if you delete the wrong one, simply re-register it and then delete the other one, or ask Calico which is which!

Gowermick, Jacqui has said that she can't tell which Mac is which. That's the problem.

Re: Deleting old computer from licence
I will try deleting one at a time, all it says is 'MAC' not at all helpful, even a date would have helped.
Thanks for suggestion.

From memory, the PCs are identified by their local network names in a pure Windows environment (OFFICE-PC, MARK-LAPTOP, etc). For future identification, is there a setting in the Windows emulator that gives it a unique identifier? It sounds like both Macs could be on default settings.

Re: Deleting old computer from licence
Be careful -- if you deactivate a licence from a machine, you can't reactivate it without contacting Calico Pie support! (Otherwise some users -- nobody here obviously -- would routinely deactivate and reactivate copies to get around the 2-PC limit).

Re: Deleting old computer from licence
Thanks for the suggestion Mark but I really don't know where to look for it. In the screen the only two options are both MAC with no further info. Just plucking up the courage to delete one of them, with my luck it will be the wrong one
