It has been a while since I've used Ancestral Sources and I'm stumped. I had previously imported source templates from FH7 to AS and then, after rethinking the templates I deleted the custom ones I had prepared and started over. I now have three custom templates in my FH7 project. I am unsuccessful when I try to import them into AS.
I attempt to import them by clicking NEW in the AS Source Template Editor. Nothing happens. There are no templates listed in the AS Source Templates dropdown menu. What am I missing?

When you click 'New' in the Source Template Editor, you need to choose the template from the All Templates list (not the AS Templates unless you've already added it to AS).
If it doesn't appear in the All Templates list then that suggests you've haven't imported it into your project in FH. If you look at the Source Templates Definition in FH the 'Used' column has to be ticked. In the screenshot below my custom template isn't ticked which means it hasn't been imported. If you click the Add to Project button this will then import it into you project so that it appears in the All Templates list in AS.

Thanks, Nick. I had followed the instructions as you describe prior to writing as that seemed to be the process. The glitch is that the All Templates drop-down is greyed out and not active: see screenshot.
Also attached is a screenshot showing that my custom templates are loaded in my project.

You have to click New to enable the All Templates drop-down.

Ah ha! Thanks, that did it.
