Data Entry

Post by Johnr65 » 19 Apr 2022 12:09

I appear to have 2 plugs in for the above, 1 ordinary AS Sources Data Entry and 1 that says Data Entry 1? What is the difference between these 2?

Neither AS Sources Data Entry nor Data Entry 1 are plugin names that I recognise.

Ancestral Sources Data Entry, Author: Mike Tate, Version: 5.0 from the Plugin Store is the usual plugin.

What are the full details of the Data Entry 1 plugin? Author, Version, Type, Last Updated

looks like you have downloaded the same plugin twice, your browser will add the "-1" so you don't overwrite the original. When you load to FH I think it uses the file name for the plugin, hence your duplicate.

If you try to edit the 2 plugins they should look identical, if not, ????

Yes, as Jim says, you have downloaded the same plugin twice in fairly quick succession and the browser adds the -1 suffix.

As you can see they are both the same Version for the same Last Updated date.

You can delete the Ancestral Sources Data Entry-1 copy by clicking More >> to open the side panel and use Delete.

You also need to download the later Version 5.0 dated 10 Mar 2021 from the Plugin Store.

Thank you, yes I've deleted the Data 1 plug-in now.
