Is there a way to save my data as draft in AS

Post by Kai Chandler » 07 Feb 2022 23:03

I was called to dinner half way through creating a census in AS and had to cancel my current session which prompts the question of whether there's a way to save one's current work before committing the full set of changes to the FH gedcom data file. If not, is it worth having this as a possible future enhancement?

Couldn't you just leave your entry and continue after dinner? I would have thought you could continue even if your computer went to sleep. It would be a very complex change to save a draft somewhere because of the various different places where data can be entered. It's not like Word or Excel where it can just save as a temporary document or spreadsheet because AS is saving into your Family Historian project which it can only do at the end when all the data has been entered.
