Consistency Checking

Post by Electrovellum » 15 Jan 2022 17:34

Is there any way to consistency check the data in FH7? I'm thinking of date inconsistencies in particular, eg death before birth. I've run File/Validate on my tree of 1,509 individuals , but it was so fast that I can't see that it did this.

No File > Validate... does not check that kind of inconsistency ~ only invalid GEDCOM structures.

The Query > Facts and Events > Fact Date Warnings will check those date inconsistencies.

If you want even more checking then try the Show Project Statistics plugin that reports on a wide range of exceptions in its Result Set.

BTW: The above features have also been available in FH V6 for years.
