* Small Caps

In Evidence Explained there are occasions when the citation should have small caps. For example:

Personal knowledge of the author, Jane Doe, ADDRESS FOR PRIVATE USE, Somewhere, Texas.

ADDRESS FOR PRIVATE USE would be in small caps. It doesn't appear there is a way to do this in FH7, but thought I would check. Not that big of a deal, just wondered.

No, I don’t think there is. You can format as you like in Rich Text notes of course and set your own template, but that would be your customisation.

The concept of using a font change to carry significance doesn’t sound very robust to me. It’s bound to be mangled somewhere or the other as it is transferred between different systems. Or do small caps have their own Unicode representation? I’ve never used them.

According to FH V7 Help page Source Template Formats under Style Codes you can choose italics, bold, underline and caps.
It explains how to <<Add them.
I realize that is not exactly the same as small caps, which is a special font effect/style similar to strikethrough, superscript, subscript, etc, that are available in all Microsoft Office and probably other office products.

That's what I thought, just wanted to check. I'll settle for just all uppercase as a default in my template. And it is an odd convention to me as well.
