WATERFALL CHART FH7

Post by klm2OUMK » 01 Jul 2021 08:06

I would like to create a Waterfall Chart (FH7) for 6 generations onto a single A4 sheet for a report. At the moment I seem to only be able to 4 sheets of A4. Is there a link somewhere in Knowledge Base to Waterfall Charts? Thank you

The process is similar for any type of Diagram.

First, use Diagram > Options > Print and ensure Orientation and other settings are as required.

If you simply want to produce a single page PDF file of the Diagram then use Diagram > Save Diagram As > PDF File (.pdf) and accept the default options as explained in Single PDF Page of a Diagram.

Otherwise, use the following process...
Enable Diagram > Page Boundaries > Show Page Boundaries or click the Page button.
Enable Diagram > Enable Moving/Resizing or click the Move button.
Then you can adjust the Scale and move the Tree until it fits inside one page.
You might also be able to adjust Diagram > Options > Dimensions to reduce the spacing, etc.
Finally, you may wish to use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Family Historian Chart... or Custom Diagram Type... to preserve that combination of settings and be able to add the diagram to a Book.
