* Split Tree Helper - help required :-)

Hi

I am happy using the Split tree helper function, I just can't write the correct query to help me achieve my goal, so any help or suggestions welcomed.

I am trying to delete all my Maternal side of the tree from my Grandparents upwards, I have written a custom query, and used the blood relative option from the relevant ancestor to identify all the ancestors of that person, which works well, but it does leave all the wives or husbands of those blood relatives as orphaned entries in my tree.

Can anyone think of a way of including them in my query? (This is a fairly big tree (7000) so doing manually isn't an option)

You may need to use the All Pool Relatives Except Partner Ancestors plugin.
(This plugin also caters for common ancestors.)
Select your father and run the plugin.
That will list everyone related on your father's side including your mother but not her ancestral tree.
In the Result Set select everyone with Ctr-A and in the cog menu use Add Selected Cell Records to Named List...

Then in Split Tree Helper, you can use the Named List Members query and delete Individual records NOT found.
